Delta Air Lines has resumed nonstop service between Atlanta's Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport and Shanghai Pudong International Airport, operating four times weekly on Airbus A350-900 aircraft. The route had been suspended since early 2020 and its return marks a significant milestone in the recovery of US-China aviation connectivity. Delta is offering introductory round-trip fares starting at 89 in economy and ,950 in Delta One business class. For travelers in the southeastern United States, the Atlanta route eliminates the need to connect through West Coast hubs. Flight time is approximately 15 hours eastbound and 13.5 hours westbound, with connections available to over 200 Delta destinations across the Americas.
