Several Chinese airlines are adding new Europe-bound services that could also benefit American travelers connecting through major Asian hubs. According to **Global Times**, China Eastern Airlines will launch **Shanghai Pudong–Zurich** on **June 18** with **three weekly flights**, giving the carrier a second Switzerland route after Geneva. China Eastern says the addition will bring its China-Europe network to **29 routes**. Other upcoming launches include **Capital Airlines’ Beijing Daxing–Lisbon** service starting **June 22**, which will be the **first direct Lisbon route from Daxing Airport**, and **Air China’s Beijing–Venice** route starting **July 2** with **four flights per week**. For U.S. travelers planning multi-city itineraries, these new nonstop links can make it easier to pair China with European stopovers or build faster return options through Beijing and Shanghai. According to **Global Times**, the latest announcements continue a broader wave of China-Europe route growth that has accelerated since late March.Sources
